About Me

Michelle N. Sines is a board-certified nurse practitioner with clinical interests in critical care, hospitalist/internal medicine and emergency medicine. She began her career as a paramedic, so she also has a special interest in prehospital medicine. Sines completed her masters at University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. She is an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor.

Sines’ personal philosophy is based on providing individualized care to her patients by acknowledging their unique situations and providing unconditionally compassionate, high-quality care. She believes strongly in advocating for patients and their loved ones and creating an atmosphere that supports provider and patient relationships. She encourages patients and families to take active roles in their health care as she strives to educate and inform them on all aspects and available choices.

When not at work, Sines enjoys traveling, camping, hiking and dog training. She has two German Shepherd dogs and one Belgian Malinois. Her Malinois is a certified search and rescue dog whom Sines deploys in the tristate area to assist law enforcement and other agencies with searches. She runs a nonprofit called Resilient Voices that hosts weekend healing retreats for sexual assault survivors. Her retreats include trauma-informed yoga, expressive art therapy, trauma workshops, equine therapy and more.
