About Me
Morgan Markham is a board-certified physician assistant with a clinical interest in plastic surgery, involving face and body cosmetic surgery, surgical oncology, breast reconstruction, complex flap reconstruction and wound care. While she immensely enjoys all aspects of plastic surgery, she has a particular interest in cancer care and reconstructive surgery. Markham additionally finds it highly rewarding to work with complex patient populations who require extra support.
Markham earned her undergraduate degree through University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. She holds two master’s degrees. The first is from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC where she majored in physiology. The second is a master of physician assistant studies from Wingate University in Wingate, NC.
Markham believes patients should have agency in their own care, and that development of the treatment plan should be a collaborative effort. During her interactions with patients, she prioritizes watching and listening attentively, as she believes extra attentiveness goes a long way in ensuring high-quality care.
In her time away from work, Markham enjoys weightlifting, running, listening to electronic music, playing board games, watching sci-fi shows, reading, spending time near the ocean and hanging out with her loved ones — especially her fiancé, family, friends and her cat.
