Dr. Chawla has been wonderful through the entire process. From day one, I felt like my situation was priority one for him. He studied my CT scan the night before my first visit. Dr. Chawla is a very understanding doctor. He listens to everything you say. I followed him from one practice office to another just continue having him as my doctor. Time difference between the different practice offices from my house is/was 5 min vs 30 mins

The receptionist, the nurse and the doctor. I missed an initial appt due to my own mixups. Receptionist got me in with the Dr in a special time slot less than a week later. He was booked for months otherwise. REALLY went out of her way for me. Then when I came for make up appt, I didn’t have my insurance card (will upload it now as she instructed) She still wasn’t frustrated with me, well, we made fun of me and laughed for a bit. She could have been easily upset, but wasn’t. The nurse showed great patience with both me and the faulty keyboard she had to use. And the Dr was calm. He listened when I spoke and explained what he thought I should do going forward (second opinion about a scheduled surgery elsewhere) and I like his idea/opinion. Took his advice to the letter and hoping for the best. I might switch to him as my urologist if he’s open to it.

Dr Chawla is a world class doctor in his field. I'm dealing with some very difficult and challenging medical issues and I truly trust his advice and opinions. He explained things so that I could understand them to make an educated decision on what I think is the best corse of action for myself and my future. Professionalism of staff
Dr. Chawla was very kind and took the time to show me my CT Scan and the [] in my bladder. We discussed waiting a few weeks to see if it passes and he scheduled me for an x-ray within 2 weeks. I was very happy with our conversation and hoping that the steps will work so that surgery will not be needed.
Dr. Chawla is always very professional and makes every effort to explain in a non medical language so that I have a better understanding.
I like the new office. I especially like that I rarely have to wait long for the Dr to see me. I think it's awesome because while we rarely take long, I know that when I bring up a topic he will fully discuss it with me. If several patients did that, it could be easy to get backed up but I feel like their process handles it very well.

As I told Dr. Chawla when he called me asking if I had a radiologist, I told him that he is the FIRST DOCTOR I've seen who has looked at my various health issues I've had over the years and put them together like pieces of a puzzle. He went beyond his area of expertise to see the various problems I've been having. My husband was with me at my first visit and he also felt relieved that I was finally getting the right diagnosis.
