About Me
Stacy Patterson is an occupational therapist who specializes in working with people to prevent and treat lymphedema after breast cancer surgery. She earned her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy more than 20 years ago at ECU.
Patterson was WakeMed’s first occupational therapist to work in WakeMed Outpatient Specialty Rehab, which has a focus on helping women prevent and manage lymphedema after breast surgery. She has since established the WakeMed Breast Health Program and works with patients and their health care providers to ensure their needs are met. Outside of work, Patterson and her husband enjoy going to their sons’ ball games and family time.
