About Me

Dr. Stefano Crosio is a doctor of osteopathic medicine with clinical interests in chronic disease management, prevention and wellness. These include diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular health, diet and weight loss as well as mental health and age-related preventive screenings. He earned his bachelor's degree through Providence College in Providence, RI. He attended medical school at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) in Old Westbury, NY. He completed residency at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate in Springfield, MA.

Dr. Crosio's approach to patient care is simple and begins with actively listening to the patients, their concerns and their health care goals. He empathizes with patients and strives to understand their diverse backgrounds and any social determinants of health they may face. Ultimately, he gets to know the patient thoroughly — demonstrating that he cares for his patients by caring about his patients. In this way, he effectively sets mutual goals they can achieve together.

In addition to spending quality time with family and close friends, Dr. Crosio loves traveling. In fact, he has made his way across 20 countries. When not on a trip, Dr. Crosio is a liturgical choir cantor, a soccer fan of Juventus, an avid reader and a companion hiker with his dogs — Walter and Banks. His favorite book is The Lord of The Rings and his favorite movie is Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. His most recent hobby and second career is training in the art of "Dad Jokes."
