Stephanie Helfrich, MSN, FNP-C

Stephanie Helfrich is a family nurse practitioner, specializing in holistic patient care based on a mutual understanding of physical, psychological and emotional dimensions. She emphasizes creating a trusting and caring environment in order to achieve physical wellness. Helfrich worked as a nurse for more than a decade, within the Cardiac ICU as well as pre- and post-surgery. She has spent much of her career at WakeMed and values patient advocacy and patient-centered care. Helfrich obtained her masters to become a nurse practitioner from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY.

She is excited to provide compassionate care to patients within the community at large as well as their families. Her goal is to educate patients on how to achieve a healthy lifestyle and reduce the risk of developing chronic illness.

Originally from Kentucky, she has lived in this community for some time with her husband and three children. She feels a connection and pride in developing a deeper sense of belonging and commitment. Helfrich is looking forward to meeting patients and helping them achieve their health goals.
