About Me

Dr. Timothy Bukowski is a board-certified pediatric urologist with clinical interests in children with congenital genito-urologic problems, such as hypospadias, ureteral obstruction, ureteral reflux, undescended testicles and various other issues such as urinary tract infections and urinary incontinence. Dr. Bukowski earned his medical degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine in Buffalo, New York, and completed his general surgery and urology residencies at Wayne University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Bukowski completed fellowships in pediatric urology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Children’s Hospital Medical Center and at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Bukowski brings over 25 years of experience to WakeMed and was selected as one of the Best Doctors in America by Best Doctors® for the last 18 consecutive years.

Dr. Bukowski believes in treating each patient like they were his own child. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing and coaching ice hockey, rowing with the RowNC group on Jordan Lake and spending time at the beach with his wife. Dr. Bukowski also enjoys traveling to see his children and grandchild.
