About Me

Dr. Trevor Taylor is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician with clinical interests in asthma management with focus on improvements in quality of life for those with severe disease. He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and completed his internal medicine residency and internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Taylor completed a fellowship in pulmonology and critical care at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia.

Dr. Taylor’s primary goal is to always strive to honor the inherent dignity of each of his patients and to work together with them to get to an answer about their disease process and to put plans in place to improve their quality of life.

Outside of work, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, running, grilling and reading. Dr. Taylor and his family enjoy being outside and spending time in the backyard, on the greenway or at Umstead State Park.
