3/16/2023 The entire experience with Dr. Gentry was exceptional. He actually recommended nearly 2 years ago that I consider as a way to become a better candidate for the I ended up having done. I was too heavy and too big of a surgical risk. I did that, lost the weight, and had a successful. Dr. Gentry explained the entire process and was very clear about setting my expectations as far as pain, efficacy, risks, and realistic outcomes. Very positive experience.

3/10/2023 I had a good feeling about Dr. Gentry the first time I met him. In fact I told him that I got good vibes from him. This was very important to me becuase I had never had any surgery. He had to fix so I was very scared. I had no choice because I was in a wheelchair and could no longer walk. I'm back at home now and doing very well all though I use a cane sometimes. I came a long way.. I am so thankful to Wake Med and Dr. Gentry. I would recommend him to anybody. He really cares and not just trying to get a paycheck. I'm very pleased.

Getting up on exam table and getting down was made easier because he help my husband get me down I was most proud of his recognizing and reducing the amount of medication he was originally going to give me.
