WakeMed Raleigh Campus - Conference Dining
We provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals living with limb loss and their families to connect with others who have overcome similar challenges. Held in-person, we strive to be a place where emotional support and education can be offered and shared.
WakeMed Conference Dining is located on the first floor of WakeMed’s Raleigh Campus near the WakeMed Rehabilitation Hospital, 3000 New Bern Avenue.
Please allow yourself extra time to park and find the room.
For more information and to be included in the meeting reminder emails, please email Beth Soto at bsoto@wakemed.org or call 919-350-8903.
WakeMed Amputee Peer Support Program
The Peer Support Program allows patients who have experienced an amputation to talk with individuals who have had a similar medical experience.
How does the program work?
During your hospital stay, WakeMed can match you with a Peer Supporter and can arrange for an informal visit during which the Peer Supporter will talk with you about what they experienced, both during their hospitalization and upon return home, and answer your questions. The goal of the program is to provide you with a resource for information about what to expect from your medical condition and to help prepare you for the future. See your case manager or therapist for details about participating in this program.
