Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
July 10, 2023This recipe is intended for patients who have successfully completed the Soft Solid phase and are over eight weeks post-op.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 - 12 oz. bag fresh Brussels sprouts, halved or quartered with root chopped off
- 2 tablespoons oil of your choice – olive oil, truffle oil, sesame oil, etc.
- Seasoning of your choice – garlic powder, black pepper, onion flakes, etc.
DIRECTIONS
- Line your air fryer tray with aluminum foil (for easier clean up!) and set to 400 degrees. Preheat for 5-10 minutes while you prep your vegetables.
- In a bowl, toss Brussels sprouts in oil and top with desired amount of seasoning.
- Place in air fryer in single layer and cook until sprouts begin to crisp up and turn brown (take them out before they burn!), tossing every 5 minutes or so, usually 10-20 minutes total.
