Computer Repair

The WakeMed Foundation supported:

ENERGIZE! EXPANSION 

  • Expansion of this free, community-based program to help children and their families make healthy lifestyle changes — Now offering 14+ total programs across Wake County
  • Virtual cooking class for ENERGIZE! families to support healthy eating habits

YOUR WHOLE HEALTH PROGRAM 

  • Identification of non-medical factors that could affect patients’ overall health, such as access to transportation, healthy foods, a safe place to live and more — to connect patients with essential community resources that address these factors for better health outcomes
  • Successful screening of more than 16,000 unique patients since program inception in July 2022

PET-ASSISTED THERAPY PROGRAM 

  • Support from trained and certified therapy dog, Pistachio, for the well-being of WakeMed Rehab patients to help them regain their health, function and independence.
  • Broad reach of more than 16,300 visits with patients, staff and family members since Pistachio joined the WakeMed family in 2019
