For those who’d rather play than watch, it’s also easy to find your sport of choice, from team sports, tennis and golf to horseback riding and rock climbing.

Travel

North Carolina Food

Here you are as close to the mountains as you are to the beaches of North Carolina (which happen to be some of the most beautiful in the world), and you’re halfway between Miami and New York City.

Local attractions and our international airport make it easy to plan day trips, long weekend getaways or global adventures.

Education

In addition to three major universities, our area includes 12 colleges and universities and eight community colleges. We are proud to be home to three HBCUs, the largest women’s college in the Southeast, four seminaries and thriving technical colleges.

Our public-school systems include award-winning magnet schools, and there is no shortage of charter, independent and internationals schools, as well as accredited Montessori, Waldorf and Emerson schools.

The Triangle is a great place to live, play - and work!
