Mammography

Mammograms are yearly screenings for signs of a disease – such as breast cancer – often long before someone can feel a lump or detect symptoms. The goal of mammogram screenings is to find breast cancer at an early stage when it can be treated and cured. Both Raleigh Radiology and WakeMed offer advanced 3D breast tomosynthesis mammography for the earliest detection of breast cancer.

Specialized Pediatric Imaging

Our team provides a kid-friendly environment to make both parents and children feel at ease – while also following special pediatric techniques to ensure the lowest radiation dose possible for children. We offer a full range of imaging studies for kids including X-ray, ultrasound, MRI and more. All procedures are read by radiologists who work closely with our board-certified pediatric providers for a big picture approach to better health for even our smallest patients.
