Mental Health Crisis Services
When an emergency related to a new or existing mental health issue strikes, mental health crisis services can often provide more appropriate care than emergency rooms.
Services are available to support adults and children who need immediate help for substance use and mental health issues:
- Possible overdose (opioid and other drugs, alcohol),
- Crisis related to schizophrenia, bipolar depression and other mental illnesses,
- Suicidal thoughts, and/or
- Thoughts of hurting self or others.
