Shawn Hamlet Award: Inspiring Others Through Service
In 2019, WakeMed established the Shawn Hamlet Award in honor and memory of a long-time WakeMed employee who passed away unexpectedly. The Shawn Hamlet Award: Inspiring Others Through Service is given to a WakeMed employee who has overcome adversity and made an outstanding impact on our organization.
