When you arrive at the WakeMed Cary Hospital patient registration desk, you will be given a Q Flow number. Q Flow is how we check-in and register patients efficiently and help maintain patient privacy.

Please hold on to this number. It will be used throughout your visit to the hospital. 

Please wait in the seating area near the registration booths until your Q Flow number is announced overhead. The number will also be shown on the TV monitors.

At the registration booth, a Patient Account Representative (PAR) will ask for your Q Flow number, a picture ID and insurance card. Please have these items ready when you come to the booth.

After registration is complete, you will be directed to the next department and told what to do with your paperwork. If you have additional questions, please ask the PAR to assist you.
