If you are in North Carolina and have access to the internet using a computer with a camera or your tablet or smart phone, then you can get care now through WakeMed Virtual Urgent Care. No longer do you need to leave home to get the care you need for these common conditions:

What makes us different? WakeMed Virtual Urgent Care is staffed by the WakeMed Physicians Practices, the same local, trusted providers who staff our urgent care locations. Get the care you need now, quickly, efficiently and from providers you know and trust. Treating patients ages 4 months old and up.
If it is determined during your virtual visit that you need to be seen in person, we will schedule an appointment for you at one of our Urgent Care locations that is most convenient for you.
If you are seen in person after you virtual visit, your Virtual Urgent Care payment will be refunded to you and you will only be responsible for the cost of the in-person Urgent Care appointment.
*If you are accessing Virtual Urgent Care services, please have your insurance card handy when you make your appointment via MyChart. WakeMed files insurance for telemedicine appointments; you will be responsible for your urgent care co-pay.
