As always, WakeMed’s number one priority is the health and safety of our valued patients, and we want to do all we can to keep you healthy and well. Our new virtual visit option allows you to be seen by your WakeMed provider from the comfort of your home. The care you need when you need it.
With these virtual video visits now available for children and adults, we are ready to care for our community, whether it’s with a virtual visit consult via smartphone or tablet or an in-person visit for emergent needs.

How do I get an appointment?
Simply call the specialists’ office you are interested in seeing and we will take it from there.
I’m a new patient, can I get an appointment?
Telehealth visits are for both new and existing patients. All a new patient would need to do is contact the specialists office to get started.

How much does it cost?
At this time, virtual visits are covered by insurance. No payment will be collected at the time of service, but you will receive a bill later on.
