Patient and Family Advisory Council Volunteering
We are always accepting applications — although spots are limited.
Patients and families are the reason for everything we do, and we are recruiting current and past WakeMed patients and family members of current or past WakeMed patients to join a Patient and Family Advisory Council. Council members will be invited to share their feedback and ideas to improve the experience of care at WakeMed.
The ideal Patient & Family Advisory Council member will be able to:
- Express perspective so others will listen.
- Ask thoughtful questions and provide honest feedback.
- Be able to listen to, and learn from, the perspectives of others.
- Think beyond personal experience.
- Always provide feedback/advice in support of exceptional patient care.
