Our Back & Spine Center Team

Our team is composed of a group of capable, dedicated professionals who will partner with you in your recovery. Here are the team members you will meet on your journey to good health:

• Medical provider who specializes in physiatry — This role involves diagnosing and treating medical issues that negatively impact your ability to carry out your normal, day-to-day routines.
• Physical therapist — They employ exercises, stretches, manual therapy and other techniques to help you regain function, manage pain and improve your mobility and overall quality of life.
• Medical assistant — They direct patient care, such as taking vital signs, prepping you for exams and assisting physicians with procedures. They also manage medical records, schedule appointments and handle basic lab work, all while communicating clearly with you and other medical personnel.
• Spine nurse navigator — They offer tailored and consistent patient care, actively assisting with appointments and testing and educating you about procedures, side effects and medications. They, additionally, facilitate social worker referrals and proactively address challenges to treatment when they arise, including lack of housing, transportation or childcare.

If deemed necessary, you may also be referred to additional specialists to assist in providing complete comprehensive care to meet your specific care needs.
