- WakeMed is privileged to support the professional development of WakeMed employees and students in programs for which we have an Affiliation Agreement. We are currently at clinical capacity, so we are not accepting any post-licensure nursing or EMS students other than employees and clinical nurse specialist students at this time.
- It is the responsibility of the post-licensure nursing and EMS student to secure a qualified preceptor.

- Project Completion – All students with projects must review the following policies and submit the Notification of Graduate Nursing Student Capstone Project form as directed.
EPIC Access
- WakeMed employees are not to use their employee access for anything while doing student work, so a separate network and EPIC account is required. Please email nsplacement@wakemed.org if you need assistance.
Badge
- A WakeMed student badge will be provided by nsplacement@wakemed.org, and should be worn whenever doing student work at WakeMed Health & Hospitals.
